Giving Day 2016

Giving Day 2016 has closed. It was such a big success we are doing it again.

What exactly is Giving Day? It's an action packed 24-hour online fundraising drive to support UC Santa Cruz students, faculty, and campus programs. Generous donors provide incentives through matching funds and challenge funds which are essentially prize dollars for winning parts of the game. Explore this site and get a feel for how it works.

Do you have a project, club, or program that you want to fund? This is your chance to meet your fundraising goals and reinforce your community of supporters.  The earlier you sign up the greater the odds you will attract a donor to match your fundraising dollars.

Learn more and sign up today.

The winners of the Giving Day Final Frenzy Challenge are in:
May 13, 2016

First place: Bird School Project, which will receive a $10,000 prize.

Second place: Formula Slug, which will receive a $1,000 prize.

These two projects' fundraising drives attracted the most unique donors throughout the day. Big congratulations!

Final Frenzy
May 12, 2016

Due to the high volume of activity late in the game we will be announcing the winners of the Final Frenzy Challenge tomorrow.
