The UC Santa Cruz Sociology Department Dr. Francesca Guerra Undergraduate Research Scholarship

Raising money to support our students and their continued work in challenging dominant norms and structures.

Your gift will provide undergraduate sociology students stipends to support fieldwork travel and research.

Following her passing on May 23, 2017 from a serious illness, family, friends, and colleagues established the Dr. Francesca Guerra Undergraduate Research Scholarship to honor Dr. Guerra’s, fierce and tireless dedication to sociology, to teaching, and above all, to her students.
