Surf Team

The UC Santa Cruz Surf Team is a student-run sports club at our university. We just concluded an incredible season competing in National Scholastic Surfing Association surfing competitions up and down the California coast. Your support will help our team compete against the best collegiate surfers in the country by keeping costs to students at a minimum, supporting our travel to the contests in Southern California, helping us pay the entry fees, and providing the surfers with food and water at contests.


Usually we compete in five NSSA competitions a year and the state championships. Each of these contests has entry fees, and we also usually enter two teams into the Santa Cruz Steamer Lane competition in mid-December. On top of these fees, the State Championship entry fee is more expensive. It is important to us to give every Surf Team member the great experience we were fortunate enough to have had in the past!
