Match Opportunity: Generous donors are matching all donations, dollar for dollar, up to $5,000.
Marine mammals eat a lot of fish. And recent fishery collapses have raised the price of fish drastically. Your gift today will put food in the mouths of our resident dolphins, otters, and seals.
The animal residents of the Marine Mammal Physiology Project at UC Santa Cruz function as animal ambassadors for their species and work cooperatively with scientists and college students to help conserve species around the world.
Did you know that our Marine Mammal Physiology Project offers a second chance for animals who couldn't successfully live in the ocean, some of whom were even slotted for euthanasia by the federal government? UCSC offered these animals a home where they became part of a team to investigate how to conserve what animals like them in the wild.
Help us raise $20,000 today to cover 6 months of food. Gifts up to $5,000 will be matched today by a generous donor.
