Miss out on the Giving Day fun? You can still be part of our big day by making a gift here!
CruzHacks
Help CruzHacks improve and stay free for our students as we return back in-person!

CruzHacks is UC Santa Cruz’s student-run, annual hackathon. For the past 10 years, CruzHacks has provided opportunities for students to come together and build projects for social change, network with experts in the tech industry, and gain professional skills for the industry. Our student attendees have created innovative projects at our past events, and some have even turned their projects into startups!

When the pandemic struck in 2020, we brought our event online and opened it up to students from around the world. We welcomed talented students from over 15 countries to join us, and we couldn’t be more proud of the impact that we’ve had on countless students over the past 2 years. In 2022, we brought together 400+ students from more than 90 universities around the world and created 40+ projects

However, we recognize that in-person events are more engaging and impactful for students when compared to virtual events. That’s why we’re bringing CruzHacks back in-person at UC Santa Cruz in January 2023, and we need your help to make that possible!

Your gift will help us keep our 3-day event free for students, even as we fly in inspirational speakers from around the world and provide free food for all our attendees!
