Designed specifically for talented and motivated high school students, the California State Summer School for Mathematics and Science (COSMOS) is a 4-week summer residential program for high school scholars with demonstrated interest and achievement in math and science. This intensive experience is intended to encourage the brightest and most promising young minds to continue their interest in these fields. Students work side-by-side with outstanding UC researchers and university faculty, covering topics that extend beyond the typical high school curriculum.
COSMOS also prides itself on providing student and leadership development during the 4 week program by working in groups in both in class and outside of class, public speaking, and participating in community building activities that creates a positive environment of inclusiveness.
Your contribution will help provide scholarships to qualified students who cannot afford the $3,570 tuition fee and will also cover the financial gap for any family who received partial financial aid and cannot cover the remaining balance.
