Ignite Innovation, Fuel Dreams: Support CruzHacks 2024 on UCSC Giving Day!

CruzHacks is UC Santa Cruz’s student-run, annual hackathon. For the past 10 years, CruzHacks has provided opportunities for students to come together and build projects for social change, network with experts in the tech industry, and gain professional skills for the industry. Our student attendees have created innovative projects at our past events, and some have even turned their projects into startups! We even received great news this summer that the SlugLoop team from CruzHacks 2023 was selected as the only U.S. team in the Google Solution Challenge’s TOP 10!


CruzHacks is not just a hackathon; it's a catalyst for change, an incubator of innovation, and a community of tech enthusiasts. Our mission is to foster creativity, inclusivity, and skill development while empowering the next generation of tech leaders. At CruzHacks, students from diverse backgrounds gather to transform their ideas into reality, developing projects that tackle real-world problems.
