We Need Your Support!

Dear family and friends,

Sol is UC Santa Cruz’s Womxn’s ultimate frisbee team, and for our program to continue to succeed and flourish we are asking for your financial support. Sol is a student-run organization and we are intent on ensuring that money is never an obstacle for ALL members! With your donations, we can travel and host tournaments, as well as pay for hotels, transportation, jerseys, and tournament registrations.

At our core, Sol is a family who loves to be competitive—helping us gain skills and self-confidence on and off the field. We encourage everyone to join us in this amazing sport, even if they have no experience whatsoever! This is not just a sport for us; we are a family who loves each other and the sport, and we want to share that feeling with the world.

And you are also part of that family! You are our dear supporters who make being a member of Sol possible.

Last year, we were honored to host the Sean Ryan tournament and Sectionals at our beautiful OPERS field. We also competitively participated in Regionals, where we placed 4th out of 20 teams, and we played in two games to go to Nationals. We made it to the semifinals, and this year we hope to continue on that pathway.

Because of your support, Sol continues to thrive and exist as a place where students can enjoy the beauty of this sport and community.
