The Arts Dean’s Fund for Excellence and Equity (ADFEE) is dedicated to supporting the dissemination of student research. Qualifying projects must demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion. Support of ADFEE enables our students the ability to engage themselves and others in truly transformative scholarly research and artistic practices. This fund directly supports students in presenting their work at international academic conferences and festivals, disseminating their work beyond campus, and creating meaningful networks and connections that can jumpstart careers.

The changing demographic of our student body represents the future of California, bringing new perspectives and fresh voices to the fore. In the Arts Division, we are building the "University of the Future" where current and future generations can claim their education and hone their skills in a supportive environment. With your help, the Arts Dean's Fund for Excellence and Equity, can help us work towards diversifying future artists by removing barriers to degree completion, with emergency grants to students in need, and by creating an inclusive curriculum by providing seed funding for innovative inclusive programs and encouraging the creation and dissemination of new work.
