The SWANA Professional Development Fund will support currently enrolled Southwest Asian/Middle Eastern North African students seeking to obtain the skills, networks, and supplies necessary to be successful in their chosen professions. On an application basis, students will have the opportunity to receive funding that can be used to offset the costs associated with participation in a variety of opportunities, including:
- Professional and personal development conference registration fees (e.g., SWANA CON)
- Participation in leadership trainings and certificate programs that require a fee
- Department store gift cards for interview attire
- Professional headshots
- Supplies and materials needed for employment
During our Giving Day campaign, you can directly support a student in achieving their professional and aspirational goals!
To kickstart the Asian American/Pacific Islander Resource Center (AA/PIRC)’s SWANA Professional Development Fund, we have a goal of fundraising $10,000. Thanks to supporters like you, we believe it’s possible. Will you join us?
