Dear Members and Friends of UCSC,

Please support scholarships for re-entry and local students at UCSC on Giving Day!

Community Connections developed in 2022 when two former organizations (the Women’s Club and the Affiliates) merged. Since 1992, the Affiliates has provided 62 scholarships totaling more than $230,000. Since 1976, the Women’s Club has provided 449 scholarships totaling more than $483,000.

This year we are raising funds to support UCSC re-entry students through the Women's Club Scholarship Fund, which directly benefits our students this year; and the Affiliates Scholarship Fund, supporting local UCSC students who show financial need.

Scholarships are critically important support for students who are struggling to make ends meet. With your help on Giving Day, UCSC Community Connections can not only continue to meet past scholarship goals but also surpass them and help more students in need.
