When the Chancellor receives an urgent request to support an area of greatest need—student, project or program—he turns to the UCSC Fund.
A gift to the area of greatest need is the most flexible kind of support and enables the Chancellor to respond to requests quickly. Last year, the contributions were used to assist the library, support the Career Advice Network, fund the west campus writing center, support the arboretum, and provide scholarship and fellowships to worthy and deserving students. In honor of our first Giving Day, a group of generous donors have stepped forward to offer matching funds for all donations up to $5,000 to the area of greatest need. Join the game and give today!
Starting now: $5,000—Mad Dash Evening Challenge. Project with the most donors from 6–8 p.m. wins the bonus. GO! #ucsc #gameonucsc
