The purpose of the Film Production Coalition (FPC) is to foster and create a collaborative environment that promotes creativity, community, and mutual learning. We are open to everyone on the UCSC campus, whether they are first-time or seasoned filmmakers, film majors, or non–film majors alike. We teach and learn from one another as we work tirelessly for 10 weeks to complete our projects. After these 10 weeks of hard work, we celebrate our efforts through a quarterly film festival that showcases the various films made throughout the quarter. Through the film festival we aim to cultivate community, not only for those in the club, but also for all students on the UCSC campus. At FPC, we live, breathe, and love films and do so through community.
