Hello!

My name is Jennifer Park and I am a part of alpha Kappa Delta Phi at UC Santa Cruz. I crossed into this sorority in Fall 2020 and this organization has enriched my experience as a UCSC student by providing a welcoming community where I have created meaningful memories that I will cherish forever.

Growing up in a predominantly white neighborhood, I had trouble connecting with those around me and often dealt with identity issues. Coming to college, alpha Kappa Delta Phi has given me the opportunity to open up and accept who I am while also sharing and relating my struggles with those who have experienced similar troubles. This sorority has given me so much and I would love to help give back.

Covid had a huge impact on the size of our house, resulting in a lack of funds and support from alumni as a result of the disconnect created by years online. As a result, we have been unable to hold certain traditions and events that bring together the community about Asian awareness, one of our pillars. 

Our annual convention is coming up very soon and we need a lot of help and support to send our chapter to Orlando, Florida to connect with our sisters from all over the country and internationally. I hope you will make a donation today!
