You have a chance to make a major impact on the archaeological community at UC Santa Cruz. Since our first fundraising campaign in 2017, we have raised over $48,000 to provide ARC grants to UCSC students and support our public programs. Today is the Spring Give and we need your help to continue this tradition.
Why do ARC grants matter to our students? For undergraduates, ARC grants help offset the significant costs of attending archaeological field schools. For graduate students, ARC grants provide funding to initiate small preliminary projects in their field of study, leading to larger grants from leading foundations. Our public lectures and events, furthermore, introduce our students and the broader community to cutting-edge research in archaeology taking place around the world. So please, support the UCSC Archaeological Research Center during the Spring Give 2023. Your gift of $1,000 will send a student to the field, support a grad student's preliminary research, or sponsor a public lecture. Gifts of any size make a difference—they all add up.
