Acquire A Cappella

Hello there! We're Acquire A Cappella, UCSC's punniest a cappella group!

Thank you for checking out our website! Acquire A Cappella is one of UC Santa Cruz’s oldest a cappella groups on campus. Since 2007, members of the group have made specially crafted arrangements—beautiful harmonies and unique takes on different genres of songs for many to hear and enjoy.

Acquirefest, our largest event, is an opportunity to showcase all that we have worked on while simultaneously building fellowship with peers who share the same passion. We invite multiple a cappella groups from throughout California to come together at Acquirefest to share symphonies of wondrous music. It requires many hours of planning and practicing—and helpful donations from people like you—to make the event happen!

To continue the legacy of Acquire A Cappella, we hope that you will help our group with a generous donation. These donations would help us with travel costs, stage equipment, props for the event, and so much more. Even if you can't donate, any type of support is appreciated. Thank you!
